Your Role
- Perform test design, build automated and manual testing scenarios/scripts/simulations based on requirements gathered and design documents
- Test and verify all data flows/pipelines/DB scripts/business logic and reports prior to deployment
- Troubleshoot and identify root cause of issues uncovered
- Work with QA head to create detailed functional and nonfunctional testing scenarios/plans
- Work autonomously to find issues and evaluate results
- Develop dashboards and reports to quickly monitor data quality
- Work closely with the development team and other QA team to find solutions to issues uncovered
- Observe project plans and best practices around Agile or Waterfall development processes
- Work with multiple stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications, Experience & Technical Skills
- Resourceful and innovative troubleshooting skills with a passion for data analysis
- 1.5+ years of experience as a Data QA Professional with strong analytical skills
- Data testing acumen with a sound knowledge of DQ (Data Quality) concepts
- Ability to write and edit complex SQL queries & scripts to validate and test data
- Demonstrated knowledge of developing testing scripts, STD documents, and monitoring tools/dashboards
- Prior experience working with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau for data exploration
- Prior exposure to SSIS or similar data integration tools
- Strong initiative and a positive attitude with extremely high attention to details
- Responsible and independent, with an ability to learn quickly and adapt to changes
- Python coding ability highly advantageous
- Knowledge of implementing test automation in CI/CD pipelines would be beneficial
