Your Role
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
- Develop Android apps as per specified requirement and time
- Work closely with cross-functional teams
- Design, build and maintain high performance, reusable and reliable Java code
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of the applications
- Remain up-to-date with the latest technologies and understand their benefits
- Apply best practices and knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns and best practices
Preferred Qualifications, Experience & Technical Skills
- A minimum of 3 years of Android development experience
- A preference for writing clean and elegant test-driven code
- Experience with Java (Android SDK), Kotlin and other Android development tools
- Expertise in different versions of Android with different screen sizes
- Previously published applications in the Google Play Store would be advantageous
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, & emerging technologies
- Ability to work under minimum supervision
